If you can go on a non busy day you will see better pins than busy days where many people have plucked the "good ones". I dont know the hours but the Emporium has a trade board at the door closest to the train station, those are usually pretty good. Out side of that just keep watching for CMs with laynards. We always ride the train around at least once and sit in the Animation building (Beast's Library is pretty fun, if you haven't been there!).
