I really liked Universal Studios and Knottsberry farm was pretty good. I took my son who is 8 to Legoland last year and that was a bit disappointing!
I would definitely do a day trip to LA and see all the sights! I'm a huge fan of LA! I would live there if they would let me! The beaches are great to have a look at. They also let u stop for a bit at Hollywood boulevard so u could go over and have a look at the Soda Fountain and Manns Chinese theatre and El capitan! DL Paris is very small you only need one day at the park,down town Disney is great , shops restaurant , try and stay at one of the Disney hotels. Have fun

For some people it is a hard time emotionally. I lost my dad on Jan 2 many years ago. The week before on 12/23 we unexpectedly lost a good friend. 12 years to the day his son a SF police officer was killed in the line of duty. 3 yrs ago on 12/23 again we lost another dear friend. I had folks cut in front of us yesterday thinking that they would get on the ride faster and it did not faze me because I was counting my blessing to be able to go every week.
