We decided on a last minute trip right before Thanksgiving. What is a good hotel right across from entrance? By now a lot of them are already booked, but I don't know the names of all them to check. I checked HOJO, but the rates are a lit More...
I'm sure most of the hotels at this point will be higher because it's a holiday and its only a couple of weeks away. I would suggest using google earth and then you can see the hotel names and locations and check prices from that - brodysmommy

When I do motel searched i've notice that most of the hotels across from the entrance have similiar prices. If you want something cheaper, try the ten minute walk hotels, super 8, motel 6, or the clarion. i've had good stays at all three for under $80 a night. - madsdad

I can tell you lausd, the week prior to Easter. Catholic schools are usually from good Friday to week after Easter. Hope that helped - MarshaMouse
