Just go on lots of indoor rides, alternated with ones that get you wet (Splash Mountain, GRR). Also, I love that there is generally lots of shade to hang out in in the parks. Bring a frozen water bottle
to keep in your purse, and take

No we didn't. The lines for the fast pass and the actual ride fill up really quickly. We had to wait over an hour for the ride itself, but it is way worth the wait! My daughter and I rode it twice. We were just shy of getting on a third time. Right when we were boarding, we saw the 8am guests starting to come through the line. The second wait had technical difficulties or we might have made it. But we were very greatful for our 2 rides. First one was a 10 minute wait! Sort of. The prime time in Hollywood studios is table service and the tables have little tiny tv's at them. And the servers are hilarious. You only recieve an email if your AP is linked up to a Disney account. If you don't have it linked, I suggest you do. They email all the time about AP information and events.
And the restaurant with the dinner package is the Carthay. (hope I spelled that right! Haha)

Real sorry to hear that. It sounds like you spoke to central reservations first. To minimize problems, make sure you are either speaking to kriss kim or jessica. Central res can't book or modify retro rate reservations which is why I think they cancelled it altogether.
