Disney dollars-do they expire, are they redeemable anywhere in the park, does anyone still use them?

Disneyland!! The 1st, the original, The ONLY Park Walt was ever at and made his footsteps at. Period. All the other are called "something Disney". I was at DL & CA just a few weeks ago and I already miss it. I've been reading MW to live vicariously through all of you :)
