@Goofy101...Umm, I don't know where you're getting your information from, but you might wanna double check that. A simple search online reveals multiple sources that all give June 23, 1963 as the date of official opening, and there were never any reports of the Tiki Room burning down. I also conferred with my boyfriend on this, he used to work at the Tiki Room. YOU might be getting this confused with the Tiki Room at WDW, which opened in October of 1971 and a couple of years ago caught fire, but only sustained minor damage, it never burned down. And all the dumb people who would get on the Hotel Tram in front only to be told that "this is the Disneyland Hotel Tram only" and everyone would moan and get off. Good times.
