I love looking at these things get made but I never buy one. I'm afraid of never finishing it. But way to go Dad! - wickedlyraven. 284.6 #722 1-24-13 12:26PMLike Reply
I highly recommend getting one. I cut mine into wedges and eat a few wedges at a time. They keep for a while in the fridge so you don't have to eat it in one sitting. The chocolate is high quality and tastes so goooood! :) - DisneyMama 47.1 #3879 1-24-13 1:16PM
YUM! Also try the "Hunny Pot caramenl apple" in Pooh Corner! - babebahn197.5 #1701 1-24-13 2:16PMLike Reply
We may be at DLR on New Year's Eve this year. Anyone know if there's anything special happening that evening at the parks? Thanks in advance!
I have done New Year's at DL for the last 7 years. For the first 5, we hung out in the parks and rang in the new year in the Disney Mosh Pit with the other sardines. No more! For the last two years we have attended a family friendly NYE party at the Paradise Pier Hotel. You can buy a package that includes a buffet at the PCH Grill. Afterwards, you adjourn to a nearby ballroom where there is a DJ playing music. Non-alcoholic drinks are available inside the ballroom and there is a full bar just outside. The dance party gets regular visits from characters (Max, Daisy Duck, Mini, Micky, Pluto, to name some). It's a hoot and also includes a champagne (or Martinelli's) toast at midnight. The party runs til 1AM. We find this much more fun than "being" in the park at the stroke of midnight. It's just too crowded for us. We feel we get the best of it all as we can appreciate the decorations and still see some of the outdoor entertainment (mostly more DJ activity and a lot of hooting and hollering). Something to think about. - dagrumpster15.3 #5752 11-9-12 7:40AMLike(5) Reply

I've never heard of this! Thanx for the info! - SueBayou 2012.0 #35 11-9-12 8:55AM
Went last year! Of course they have stuff going on, it IS Disneyland after all!😊 It was a lot of fun, but it was unbelievably packed. Go in expecting crowds & you'll have a great time! Also, cross your fingers for no fog!! - GrimGrinningAmanda323.8 #523 11-9-12 6:46AMLike Reply
I think the package was $55 PP last year. You can reserve via the Disney Dining hotline. Since ALL other prices have gone up in 2012, I assume these went up as well. We haven't booked yet. - dagrumpster15.3 #5752 11-9-12 8:07AMLike Reply
Anyone else have this illuminating tabletop tree from DL? We bought it a couple years go. Love it! We keep it on 24/7 during the holidays. The batteries last a little over a week so we only have to change them a couple times.
I have a fiber optic tree like that but it doesn't have the Mickey's on it. How cute! - Millicent Van Giltmouse1.4 #41543 12-20-10 5:32PMLike Reply
I'm watching The Lion King! Even though I've seen it dozens of times, it's still soooo sad when Mufasa dies. This movie is a Disney great!
It's awful when he dies! It's my least favorite thing about world of color. Why they had to put that part in is beyond me. They might as well put that song that dumbos mom sings to him right before she leaves. I tear up every time!!!! - Smart.tea205.4 #1587 11-14-10 12:59AMLike Reply
Don't talk about the dumbo song! It hurts - Cd950.9 #3793 11-14-10 1:02AMLike Reply
I was bawling up a storm during the fireworks they play that song. Everyone thought it was so cute that dumbo was flying around and there I was crying my eyes out wishing it would end - Smart.tea205.4 #1587 11-14-10 1:08AMLike Reply
We love that movie. Our son used to watch it all the time when he was little. - Dougr9240.4 #4055 11-14-10 7:42AMLike Reply
Ok, so the holidays are coming up. Any tips on how to keep eating healthy, not over indulge, and keep up the exercise during this time of year?
Yeah eat healthy don't over indulge and continue to exercise! - MickeyMcCoy15.9 #5660 10-23-10 3:31AMLike Reply
Be prepared, don't go to a party hungry cuz you'll overeat - have a healthy snack first of some veggies or an apple or even low cal soup. Take small portions of the food you want the most, then lots of the healthier choices. If you deny yourself the good stuff, you'll just feel deprived and depressed. Good luck, and happy holidays!! - TinkPen428.4 #297 10-23-10 7:03AMLike Reply
If you want to exercise walk. Great burn off. But I'm waiting until after my DL trip and Christmas. To diet. I would never be able to really enjoy DL if I was watching what I ate lol - tigntink179.6 #1906 12-8-10 5:56AMLike Reply
Heading to birthday dinner for my son soon. I asked him if he wanted to wear his birthday crown from his preschool or his Mickey Mouse ears from DL...and he chose his ears! So cute!

Watching "Beauty and the Beast" that we just bought today. First time watching it for my 4 year old and his cousin. They are loving it! I'm enjoying it too...haven't watched it in so long. Classic Disney!
"Do you know the way to San Jose? La la la la la la la la la!" ......Can't get this song outta my head from Sunshine Plaza, DCA. Does this happen to you too?
Besides the character breakfasts, where is your favorite place to get breakfast at DLR? What do you order?
Any churro cart and coffee - Melli_mo395.7 #342 9-9-10 8:23PMLike Reply
I like the bakery, usually get a coconut mocha and either a croissant or if I'm feeling naughty I get a chocolate chocolate chip muffin - sallylovestwojacks24.1 #4831 9-9-10 8:24PMLike Reply

Anyone ever done the birthday party with Mickey and Minnie at the Plaza Inn? I'm thinking about doing it for my son's birthday. Is it good? Do u just eat from the Plaza buffet. Any info/advice would be much appreciated. Thx!!! 
I did the bday thing with my nephew when he turned 7. It was cute the kids get to decorate their own bday cake. It's separate from Plaza Inn so if you want food it's extra. - PlaidCM186.4 #1832 6-27-10 4:08PMLike Reply
I did it for my 10th birthday not realizing what it was. It's cute for little kids but I was so embarrassed being the oldest kid there. - Heather259.7 #927 6-27-10 8:43PMLike Reply

Crossing my fingers that my BIL and his fam joins us on our DL trip this fall. We'll be celebrating my son's birthday and it would be great if his cousin would be with us. They should give us an answer in the next day or so.
Any suggestions on how best to celebrate a child's bday at DL? Anyone been to the Plaza bday party? - DisneyMama47.1 #3879 6-6-10 12:21AMLike Reply
It is wonderful. You get to specially design your very own mickey shaped cake and take individual pics with mickey and minnie. Group pics as well. It is a fun festive birthday experience. - Kingdomhearts20923.2 #4891 6-6-10 4:13AMLike Reply
Have any of you read/followed the Belly Fat Cure? If so, would you recommend it?
