I have done a number of the character meals including Goofy's Kitchen. You pay a premium for the characters, not for the food. The food is not bad, but it does not justify the cost on its own.
My family and I have found that if you are looking for a character meet and greet meal, the best way is to get up early and go to one of the morning breakfasts. We try to get the earliest reservation possible. Once done you still have time to get to the park for the opening of the gates.
Doing this we always get a lot of character time, and the price is not as hard on the budget. Last time our 1 year old got lots of hugs with mickey and minnie, and Mickey even came up to our table and gave her a card with a free picture insided from the photographer to commemmorate the experience. - AdamCumming114.3 #2820 10-9-12 8:47AMLike Reply

I've researched on how to spot fakes & it's really hard to find them besides cosmetic defects, wrong colors, & wrong designs of a series, I think that some come really close & they look like great quality. I havent bought any online & im sure that theres legit sellers but i was very disscouraged by it bc I discovered a lot of alleged fakes. Some eBay sellers that sell by groups can easily deceive you by mixing fakes with real ones & the pictures that they post are hard to tell what they really look like in detail (I'm referring to the sellers who tell you that they give you random ones & not the ones pictured). Detail is key for fakes. Browse through the "other items" the seller sales & look for the specific ones sold individually. They usually post a picture that they took themselves & although they may look real and really nice, they might be fake. Go to pinpics.com & look for that pin & at the bottom of the discription it tells you about the series of the pins & what they look like. Most times it tells you about the fake pins that are out & it's really helpful. If the discription doesn't have much info look for another specific pin on the sellers list & compare it to the one on the pinpics.come site. I don't know much more than this tho, but if I spot a "fake" pin on a seller's list I really wouldn't trust to buy from them. Good luck! Does anyone know why on live webcam it looks like smoke from a fire on the matterhorn part? It could be really far away from disneyland just was curious

This is my nine year olds pumpkin all lit up. I printed stencil and he did everything else including all the carving. He's a very proud boy and should be. :)

no School completely. We have a scheduled time within those three days and out really stinks. Out was only a half day when I was in school.
