I need some MW Magic right now. My uncle just passed away after a long battle with cancer that consumed his whole body. I know he is out of pain, and in a better place, but the loss is devastating.

Not Disney-related, but I could use some prayers from my MW family. Just found out my uncle's lung cancer has spread to his liver and spleen, and his chemo is making him very sick.
Good morning MW. Just saw on the webcam the top of the tree peeking out on Main Street. Sure wish I could be at DL this holiday season, but it's just not going to work out. For all of you lucky enough to go, have a wonderful time, and More...

Is anyone else having problems with viewing the webcam on the iPhone. I go to it, but there is no play button. I've reinstalled MW, but no difference. Just curious if it's just me?
Mine doesn't have the play button either! It might have something to do with the Halloween party tonight at DL. - disneyfan46333.9 #455 10-25-11 10:29PMLike Reply

I know I just got back from WDW on Saturday, but I'm missing my DLR. It's been 5 months since I've been there, and since WDW wasn't cheap, it will be a long while til I see it again. OK. It's off my chest now...
We just got back yesterday from our 7-day WDW vacation. It was wonderful and magical, but DLR still feels more magical to me. I'd go to WDW again, but I feel like we got the better end of the deal with DLR.
We are at WDW, and my daughter is interested in getting into pin trading. Any tips on how to start?
Either get her a starter set or a lanyard and a few pins she likes and a few use for trading. She can trade with any cast member wearing a lanyard or a little pouch thing on their waist. Good luck!! - AlishaSkellington175.2 #1924 4-11-11 9:08PMLike Reply

Just minutes away from picking up girls at school, and telling them that in 4 hours we are getting on a plane to WDW! I think I'm more excited to see their faces than anything else!
Leaving Friday for our 7 day WDW vacation, and trying to pack 4 people with minimum luggage to drag on the plane. Question: Has anyone tried the travel space bags? Recommend or not?
I just use regular zip lock bags. They work in gettin more into my bags. I put labels on them and reuse them. Never needed a space bag - AllysonWonderland47.7 #3799 4-5-11 7:26PMLike Reply
We always bring an extra bag. The ones they do promos on at the parks are perfect because they flatten down for the trip and have rollers for the way home. - garrlusdland52.2 #3708 4-5-11 7:33PMLike Reply
I used the space bags for our trip to NY last summer. I was able to fit our family of 4 into one suitcase with one carry on since they always seem to lose our luggage. It was great! - vegasbrat403.8 #326 4-5-11 8:57PMLike Reply

Working on dinner reservations for our trip to WDW. Any recommendations on where to eat?
I don't remember names but there's something canyon in Fort Wilderness and then the African style buffets at Animal Kingdom lodge! Ummm what else..... The drive in diner in Hollywood studios (not for food necessary but more for atmosphere). I can't really think of anymore except make sure you have reservations everyday!! We love the contemporary (go for dinner and stay to view wishes from the top floor), order the "kitchen sink" at Beaches, O'Hanna's for character breakfast, Crystal Palace (either the Alice character or Pooh character), Belles Princess Dining at Epcot Norway, Epcot during the food &wine fest(October), Le Celliar Epcot Canada, the French pavilion in Epcot the restaurant for lunch and get pastries from the walk-up counter before the world showcase fireworks show, at dinner in animal kingdom (AK close 6pm but you can spend more time viewing the wildlife at Boma's, Brown Derby, Si-Fi, and Momma Melroses at Disney Hollywood Studios. Depends on where you stay and if money is an issue. The more expensive resorts are connected to the monorail.
For less money I would definitely stay at Riverside . We've stayed at both types of resorts. The benefits of an premiere pass will save money on tickets and cut resort cost down but do not have the same restaurant or shopping discount power as in California! Make sure you go online and read before buying!! - Tcarnahan73.8 #3350 2-9-11 5:26AMLike Reply
