I see it like going to the mall to shop no guilt. Since when did you have alone alone time to just to enjoy walking through a small town? Enjoy a meal solo alfresco (think cafe Orleans) and not worry what the kids won't eat? Stop by the perfumery in NOS and get an ap discount on some nice perfume like aqua de Parma? You can actually walk into the glass shop and not worry. See a show without out interruptions think Aladdin. I love a solo trip once in a while. YAY!!! A little over a week until our last trip to DLR this year. We'll be there for 5 days & will be staying at the Carousel Inn & Suites. We have never stayed there before: any reviews??
We have stayed at the Carousel twice before. We were pleased with their customer service and the rooms were nice and clean. The last time we were there they were in the middle of a renovation so it should be pretty nice. The breakfast was your basic continental breakfast, mostly carbs and fruit but we didn't have to buy breakfast so that was good. We also like the fact that they are right across the street from the entrance. Hope you enjoy your trip. We are counting down too - 21 days until our annual trip to DL. We are so excited to be there during the Christmas season. It will be our first time. - chantelrj243.6 #1088 11-4-12 10:33PMLike Reply

Hi. I went with my sister-in-law and her mother who is in a wheelchair on Christmas. She couldn't transfer and our entire party were granted the advantages of the pass. We didn't need a doctor's letter to obtain it. The CMs at City Hall were wonderful and very accommodating. You can always call ahead of time to get more details. Hope this helps and I hope you have a wonderful time. - VeloMouseGirl549.7 #210 6-7-12 9:52PMLike Reply
with the gac most rides in disneyland let you go thru the exit as appose to going thru the regular line. some of the rides in dca would give you a fast passes to come back. i think the only real difference is with guests in wheelchairs. they r usually issued for up to 6 people - StitchPrincess84.5 #3265 6-7-12 9:52PMLike Reply
For TSMM we were given a Return Pass. It states a time to return that approximates the line wait time. We were able to go straight into the area where they load the wheelchairs at the specified time. - VeloMouseGirl 549.7 #210 6-7-12 10:00PM
GACs are not all the same, it depends on your particular issue. Just ask at City Hall, they will ask you questions and determine what is best for you. As far as wheelchairs are concerned all attractions in DCA are considered wheel chair accessible and some attractions in DL are also accessible. - Coaster9294.5 #1 6-7-12 11:16PMLike Reply

I watched on the Disney Parks special for the cruise line that there are tons of activities for children as well as adults. There is a 18 and up pool for parents to relax. There's also a spa and a nightclub. For the kids they have some sort of "day camp" where they have plenty of activities to do and they'll get to sometimes play with characters. There are different shows every night. You rotate restaurants. If you're going to the Caribbean, they have their own special island called Castaway cay. Get to spend a day there. They just opened up the one going through the Mexican riviera. Nnot sure what goes on there - Starr549.9 #209 5-11-12 9:17PMLike Reply
