I think it's simple answer. Single rider =SINGLE RIDER. If you want to go with your child who doesnt want to go alone then you wait the regular line like everyone else.if they cant wait 2 hours then theres plenty of other rides if you take the risk in single ride line hoping to ride together and the cm sends you back then cant be upset because it is called SINGLE RIDER not parent and child line lol - Hendizl1312.9 #61 10-25-12 6:40PMLike(3) Reply
My family of four used the SRL and was able to ride 6 times over our 3 day visit. Most of the people in the SRL are in groups and should expect to be separated. A few times there was two of us in the same vehicle and sometimes we even raced against each other. I would have a huge problem if they allowed a young child in the SRL to ride with their parent. The CMs at the entry gate asked my daughter her age and I wondered what their cut off age was. Utilizing our fast passes this evening, we saw a mom and two littles in the SR line get very upset with a CM who wanted to split them up. She was advised to head to the reg line and I was thankful the CM was being firm with her. The Cm kept things moving with other 'real' single riders. Seat belts are a bit challenging - 1st we had to wait until the very last minute to put on as the ride lock them from being extended - comfortable seats with legroom for the front section - back seats crammed in like economy on an airplane. I've not used the GCH entrance @ 10:00am before, I overheard you can't use this entrance w/o a room key. I just walked through with my headphones on as if I didn't hear the CM say this to the group before me. Is this new?

My friend and I entered through the GCH last weekend, and we were not hotel guests. We were able to enter, but we had Chappy inspect out bags and wow was he thorough. Does anyone besides me remember the original side entrance to DCA for PP and DH guests, before they realized that everyone could make it through GC without getting lost? I loved it. Regular type gate, much easier for CM's, and it was a little out of the way, so it was never mobbed. Just walked from Sunshine Plaza (DCA) to Star Tours where we saw 3 Chips and 2 Dales. What's up with that? 2 of them at Sunshine Plaza, 2 at the Opera House and Chip at the Character Breakfast!!! It's like seeing 2 Santas at the mall!
