Rainy days in the parks! This ride was fun too, although it was a little hard to move with ll the tiers, we couldn't really go far without getting run into and had to pick up speed again.

Get up early, get in your favorite attractions early and take advantage of FP's while they are available. Take a nap in the car during the busy afternoon. Then you'll be ready for a pleasant Disney evening. - MoonWillow368.9 #375 12-27-12 11:07AMLike Reply
Yes, the earlier the better but be careful. Careful driving sleepy and just make sure you take that nap, eat and drink water. Those are all ingredients for a headache. Headaches at DL suck. Take Advil just in case and make sure you have coffe or an energy drink for the drive. And I assume your not driving home the same day right? Can someone explain to me how "Single Rider Lines" work. What attractions have them, where do I line up, ext. with our trip right after Xmas, anyway to cut down the time in lines is GREAT. Thanks for the help! 😎
you have to be single to get on and by single meaning a solo rider.sometimes a group or family goes in this line but you will be split up.single rider (subject to closure) is meant to help maximize a ride capacity.sometimes there are odd number of riders and a single rider is place to fill in the vechicle.example in radiator racers the car capacity is 6 total rider 3 per row.say a group of two and a group of three are going one it leaves on spot open,in goes a single rider.single rider is avaiable in dl park for indiana jones and splash mountain. in dca its avaiable on soaring, goofys sky school, screaming, radidator racers, grizzley river run.signs in each will direct you where to enter and it can close at any time if too many single riders are in line. - pikarich610.8 #178 12-3-12 10:05AMLike(5) Reply

Sorry i have been MIA for the past few months. I was planning a trip for the first week of January (3-5) for those who have been around that time...advice? How are the crowds? 😊
I went this year during those exact dates and the parks were pretty busy. Most of the people I saw there were players and family members of both Oregon Ducks and Wisconsin Badgers since they had played in the Rose Bowl earlier in the week. Most of the wait times were similar to those during summer. - KermitFan13407.5 #321 9-10-12 12:49PMLike(1) Reply

It really depends on when you are going and what he likes. I personally like CA better than DL. Although Pirates is my favorite ride DL is always more crowded. I really don't like fantasy land all that much except for taking my daughter to see the princesses. Also I have never been much of a fan of tomorrow land. Your best net is to go to the website and read about the different rides, attractions, and restaraunts, and plan you visit around what you like. - CinderellasMom264.5 #876 7-4-12 11:16AMLike Reply

Hmm. Definitely figure out which attractions you want to see. If it's RSR, you need to make sure you get a fastpass early in the morning. Otherwise, you might have to wait 2 hours. If your bf likes thrill rides, then you definitely need to hit Space Mountain, Star Tours, Thunder Mtn, Splash Mtn, Indy. I'd suggest the single rider line for indy because you'll get on faster. You might not be able to ride together, but since theres no pic anyway... Then i'd get food. Blue Bayou for dinner to make it nice. - Radius501.4 #236 7-4-12 11:31AMLike Reply
It'll be fun regardless tho. I find rides to be easier now to wait in because of cell phones. So make sure you get a New Trent to recharge your smart phone. That will make taking duck face pictures together easier all day. - Radius 501.4 #236 7-4-12 11:32AM

My boyfriend and I have decided to purchase our premium passports when we go in September. My question for you with passes - what's the best part of having a passport? ✨
The BEST thing is being able to take your time with everything instead of trying to do everything all at once. Since you get to take your time, you can start to notice all the details at the Parks. You can try out different attractions that you wouldn't have tried if you didn't have a pass - and sometimes you realize that you like that attraction more than you thought you would. - LaTruce1641.0 #45 6-26-12 9:22AMLike(5) Reply

Goofy's has a great selection but it is pretty crazy. Steakhouse 55 is the best place for a good quiet breakfast. Bananas foster pancakes are unbeleivably good. - Eraf61264.6 #872 3-5-12 10:59AMLike(2) Reply

would you rather stay in the GCR, DLR, or PPH.. why? :)
GCR because that would mean I had a lot of money and could afford to stay there! - ima-pirateswife432.3 #289 2-22-12 11:15AMLike(5) Reply
GCR. Just stayed there earlier this month for 3 days. Convenience, luxury, and atmosphere, although the other two are just as cool - crailtap81248.9 #1021 2-22-12 11:20AMLike(2) Reply
Is it really that good? Some of the pictures I've seen on here don't look too yummy. What is your favorite thing there? - Bubbymia 178.7 #1880 2-21-12 1:29PM

Add me please! My fav Disney memory was going on Pirates with my little sister for her very first time. She's 11 years younger than me and must have been ... 1 or 2. There were 2 other kids on there about her age, and when the drop came they both started crying but she started laughing... I was so proud lol - Poisen_Ivy257.9 #926 1-22-12 6:30PMLike(2) Reply

Add me please! I tried adding you as a friend don't know if it worked or not, we'll see. Best memory, on my first visit to Disneyland we got a call from our adoption social worker as we were coming through the gate. She told us they had a sibling group (4 year old boy and 18 month old girl ) available for adoption and asked if we wanted them. Our answer was of course yes. I posted the pic earlier you can go through my posts to see it and other posts about our 5adoption stories. - kd0jkv10.4 #6619 1-23-12 12:17PMLike(1) Reply

how much is an Anual pass? i live in Pheonix and im not sure if getting one would be worth it. pros \ cons?
Check Disneyland.con for current prices. If you go at least 3-4 times a year it's usually worth it and you get discount on food and merchandise purchases. - JenInWonderland1025.1 #86 1-18-12 11:16AMLike(1) Reply

Every paycheck go to your local Disney Store and put the cash you would spend on a treat in the card and save that way. - yellowtonka237.7 #1136 1-5-12 8:27PMLike(2) Reply

Welcome to the MW family!! Take your own snacks & water. Limit to maybe 1-2 souvenirs. Although, the park food is amazing...try eating off property. My fiance and I always go to Subway and we eat for $13 compared to $30? for lunch. Also, try going during off season, the hotels will be cheaper and you would be able to ride a lot more attractions. - Armenda993.7 #89 1-5-12 8:30PMLike(1) Reply
I always try to do that but then I give in and eat at the parks. - bigpete 265.1 #870 1-5-12 8:34PM
not us! lol we do try to have ONE nice meal while we are there, but we like coming home with money too! - Armenda 993.7 #89 1-5-12 8:38PM
My son and I do the same thing. Or order the child's plate - which is usually more than enough food. And we always split a soda - especially since now days the smallest size is huge! - msdizmaui518.9 #223 1-5-12 10:48PMLike Reply
