MAN, solo trips are a blast! Did my first one yesterday, and it was amazing. Walking into the park without a stroller was weird, and I found myself more than mildly freaked out when I realized I had both hands flailing in the air on rid More...
Mine was bitter sweet. I had just moved here, I didn't know anyone and I usually went with my family. Now my family was gone and it's just me all alone. I was really nervous but so happy I did. As I waited in line I chatted with everyone! A little hard at times to go on rides alone, but after time it did get easier. Now, I have a huge group of friends I go with who are now my new family! And best of all, I now work here so I have the magic everyday! - SUUZinOC

I hit that porch up a few times with one of my 10 or more coffees. THANK YOU MARKET HOUSE.. lol I was loaded hyper all day. Met lots of cool people, even if they weren't MWers. Actually made a quick acquaintance out of a young couple who hadn't been to DL in over 10 years and didn't know about hidden mickeys. That was my second solo trip, although it was not really a solo trip after I met TheBudd. I was only at the parks from 10:30 AM until 3 PM. Its nice to have some time away from the stresses at my business and go on the rides that I can't take my two and a half year old daughter on. Nice.. I'm trying to gauge my chances of a solo trip on Wednesday. It sucks, because the first 3-4 days that Wednesday was showing up on the 10-day weather forecast, there was a 60% chance of rain.. I got the SoCal pass with 215 pre-approved days, plus the additional parking pass. With my ticket I bought the other day added as the down, my payments are only $20 a month. Tell me about it. Their doctor recommended stuff, they denied it all, even the physical therapy. So I switch doctors. My new doctor recommends same stuff. I get a letter from the insurance saying the old doctor declared me permanently disabled. One week later, I get a letter saying it would be in my best interest to get the procedure my new doctor recommended (which is the same procedure their doc recommended)...
