They were wandering (waddling?) nearby, and everyone was looking and saying how cute they were. Then it was almost like Mama Duck said, "We need to get out of here," so they all ducked under the fence and made a run for it. We had to change rooms in order to extend our stay. This is a pretty nice view. And even though the DL Hotel gave us *another* offer to stay one more night, we really do need to go home. 😔

I probably won't be staying at HoJo because of the no pets policy, but I would never bad mouth them. They have done a lot in the short time they have been on here. I agree. My husband is a hotel snob and wouldn't stay at HoJo, but I'm less picky and will stay there when I go alone for Leap Day. A not-so-close friend on Facebook asked about free tickets to DL, and all I could do was sigh. Must be a MW reflex. 😉 Anyway, I took this shot in 2009.
I will like to add that I did sign in friends of mine who are single mothers, low income family and friends. Those who didn't expect to be given something for free. It felt good to see my happy friends and family enjoy the parks with me and my kids.
