Personally, I wouldn't worry about WOC until later. Go to RSR first and then get a fast pass after you ride it once. That way you can do it twice in one day. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper   732.0 #331 4-21-14 12:47PM Like(1)  Reply

I would imagine Costco could access when you purchased these tickets because dont they swipe your membership card when making a purchase? If so, they could print it out for you and compare it to the first day the tickets were used. That way it would be easier to settle your issue. That is just crazy and I'm sorry that happened to you. - aidensmama   340.3 #815 1-23-13 5:35PM Like(1)  Reply

Hmmm looking back last year, it felt that near New Years and week after New Years seemed more crowded than before holidays. I guess people are done shopping and enjoying being with family more. If I have to pick a day or two it would be 24, last year crowds weren't bad at all. Not true. I went Jan 3-5 and it was crowded. The Rose Bowl is usually on NYD and the families of the two teams pretty much invade the parks the week of the game. This year everywhere we went all insane were Oregon Ducks and Wisconsin Badgers shirts, jackets and hats. Most of the OL for Michigan State and their families were at the parks too. - KermitFan13  658.1 #366 9-29-12 4:45PM

We're in CA! So excited to be here. Will be at DL Monday! Quick question, world of color; what is the best way to see/do it, the fast pass or the picnic lunch? I know where to get the fast pass but times to get it? As soon as possible?
If you are going the WOC fastpass route, you will want to get them first thing in the morning. You will then need to line up an hour (?) before your show time. I have only seen the show once 😁 I'm not much of an expert. Try searching for World Of Color info on MW. I'm sure there are oodles of info from previous posts. Basically the picnic lunch is for someone who will not be at the parks early and wants to see the show of their choice in the blue or yellow section. But you have to wait like everyone else. I see many of you are Pin collectors, does anyone collect the pressed coins from the parks? I was thinking this might be a good one for my toddler to start with...
I do!! It's a really inexpensive hobby and they are all so cool!! - Cinderella12   45.6 #120 4-20-12 8:39PM Like  Reply
Yes! My son still loves to get them and it's fun to watch them being pressed;) - PinkElephants   745.7 #324 4-20-12 8:54PM Like  Reply
I did that as a kid. I had a whole book type thing that I held them in. I had about almost any possible Disney character you can think of. I think they're in my garage, but I collect them no more. Pins are my new passion :D - MissAlice   343.5 #802 4-21-12 2:04AM Like  Reply

Does anyone know if they will be changing the height requirement for the Matterhorn once it reopens? The site still shows it as 35" but I'm wondering if it will change? Perhaps one of the CM's on here may have heard of something? My 2 yea  More...
We're in the same boat, cannon is sitting at 37" and Matterhorn is his favorite, he talks about it daily. I'm afraid he may be heartbroken when we return in July. The individual seating is a huge indicator that it will change but I still haven't heard for sure... In the end, whatever is safest is fine by me... - cynDOLEwhip   1175.7 #187 4-10-12 6:48PM Like  Reply
It's being changed to 42" because of the new sleds.    - cinderelli   508.2 #490 4-10-12 6:51PM Like  Reply

Wow, that's a huge difference. I was expecting 40"! - cynDOLEwhip  1175.7 #187 4-10-12 6:58PM
Bummer! My daughter is 39 inches and we were hoping it would be 40 if anything. :( she asks everytime we go if its done being fixed yet. Hopefully by June when it reopens she'll be 40" and can ride BTMRR and will make that her new fav! She's also dying to ride SM! Love my coaster girl! :) - LoveDland   338.8 #824 4-11-12 12:03AM Like  Reply
wow that is a big difference! Too bad they couldn't have made them side by side seats like SM, I bet that would have lowered the height requirement. My little is just pushing 39 inches so maybe by then she'll have a growth spurt and be able to do some of the 40 inch rides. I'll just have to tell her that it's broken, the lines will probably be too long anyways. I love my little coaster girl too like you LoveDland!! :) - disneymommy0910   234.4 #1704 4-11-12 5:40AM Like  Reply

He can purchase at the ticket booths. He has to be one of the ticket holders. Each person has to sign the ticket. Not too sure about going in. You should call the booths - Starr   550.3 #445 3-23-12 10:52AM Like  Reply
I think spouses can be the ticket holders too, right? - cynDOLEwhip  1175.7 #187 3-23-12 10:53AM
If I remember correctly you have to be active duty or reserves to qualify for the military tickets.. I'm not sure vets get it.. So I think you may want to look into that. - kritomiester   364.1 #739 3-23-12 10:58AM Like  Reply
So I just looked it up and it is active duty and reserves, but retired military gets it as well. So if he retired from the military and is not just a vet than he qualifies! Also, when my hubby was in the marines we used these tickets. He would just need to show his military id once when getting you guys in, and after that you guys would be good. - kritomiester  364.1 #739 3-23-12 11:04AM
My roommate has gotten me discounted tickets through MWR. She has never had to be with us when I used them. I know on the back of the ticket it said something about "military" I also didn't have to sign it.

If you visit Rogers Gardens in Newport Beach, you can see and sit in it. They've refurbished it and offers a place for you to sit in the garden. Also, Santa uses it during Christmas time

Welcome to MW!! So many questions you have, so I will do my best ;) first of all, all of summer will be extremely crowded. So whatever day is most convenient for you and your family. Just prepare for crowds!! Your little one may not be able to ride Matterhorn again, due to the new seating arrangements thus making the height requirements different (no more lap sitting). I suggest going with the flow, and doing whatever sounds fun at the time since they are still so little :) and with the strollers, whatever you are more comfortable with. You may find it easier to keep track of one rather than two though!! I hope you guys have fun, and enjoy being on MW!! Remember to read the rules/FAQs as well :) - CMshelleybee   428.1 #606 3-9-12 4:00PM Like(2)  Reply
