Does anyone have any advice about going to Carsland? And whats the best time to get in line for the racers?
If you check MW daily and watch the attraction wait times, it is very rare for the fastpasses for RSR to be available past 9:30 am. If you want one you have to be at DCA right at opening and even then the early entry people are in line already. Getting in line at night seems best right now with the heat. - secretagentangel670.3 #154 7-22-12 3:17PMLike(1) Reply
Get fast passes early in the morning or if you have early entry, just get in line as early as possible :) - Jenniferr428.0 #295 7-22-12 3:08PMLike Reply
Try to get in line when the isn't beating down on you. So if the ride goes down, you aren't stuck waiting in the hot sun. - SquishyGlamazon115.5 #2812 7-22-12 3:10PMLike Reply
It doesn't matter that attraction constantly breaks down and it keeps a super long wait time. If at anytime you see it under 120 minutes hurry up and jump in. - mstiauna2789.3 #3160 7-22-12 3:21PMLike Reply
Do you think it's better to eat in the parks, go to downtown Disney or out of the park ? And what places are your favorite ?
I normally just eat in the parks since I want something faster. But I do like to eat at Espn zone at times. My favorite places to eat in the parks is plaza inn, flo's and taste pilots - princessVanessa382.5 #353 7-15-12 6:56PMLike Reply
Depends on what you want. Quick? Cheap? Fine dining? Etc. We like to have a nice dinner if we have been in the parks running around so we would either do Blue Bayou in DL, napa rose in gc hotel, jazz kitchen or Naploli (i think thats the name) in dtd. I like these choices because there's something fancy if you feel like dressing up or there are places you can be casual but also get a nice meal at a nice pace, not rushed in and out. If you want something quick then staying in the parks is a good choice and choosing a quick service place. I love the gumbo bread bowl by the poc exit, we usually split it when money is tight. I also like to split the chicken plate at the plaza inn. We usually don't eat off property completely, except for dennys for breakfast and every now and then bumba Gumps in the garden walk area. when we go, we usually stay for a week and have 1 or 2 meals in the park. We have a fav pho place we hit once or twice a trip on Harbor, bring our lunches, and get churros (and other treats) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint1802.6 #42 7-15-12 7:41PMLike Reply

I'm a daytripper, so I usually eat in the parks out of convienance. There aren't many tempting places in DTD for me and I don't want to take an hour of my day at DL to go out of the parks just to save a few bucks. - Sarafina398.8 #336 7-15-12 8:08PMLike Reply

I finally saw them a few months ago. Chatting with the CM at the end of the line. It was a very magical moment to see them. - PopcornYeti377.6 #360 7-14-12 11:09PMLike Reply

We stay at the Doubletree alot but last time we stayed at Paradise Pier for my Birthday and were upgraded to a suite. I have to say I was totally spoiled with that room! Have also stayed at Candy Cane Inn. Really nice place with a great shuttle system. Stay in the premium room and they bring breakfast to your room and they have great rates. - sstarlight294.4 #642 7-14-12 5:27PMLike Reply
The Pier and DL Hotel are fabulous as well. I was talking to one of the lifeguards at the Pier Hotel and he was telling me about California's State regulations and how Disney strictly follows them. But.... Disney takes even higher. Anything Disney for md please! 😃😃😃😃 - smileslikeChesh11.5 #6355 7-14-12 6:16PMLike Reply
I love the Grand! It's beautiful and so convenient when wanting to go to the park! Outside of the park, I love staying at the Residence Inn just a few minutes aways from the park. - JoeDownTheRabbitHole395.9 #338 7-14-12 6:19PMLike Reply
