Not sure if this was posted before, but this hook, and hanging lantern has an interesting history. It is one of the few pieces that was preserved, and reused from The Jolly Roger Restaurant in Fantasyland. You can find it today when exiti  More...
Do you mean the Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship? The ship was a restaurant (later called Captain Hook's Galley) that was where Dumbo is now. It was in water with Skull Rock nearby (next to Monstro). There was an attempt to move it over by IASW, but the ship was in such bad condition it was demolished. Part of the hull is in Peter Pan...I didn't know about the hook and lantern though. I'm not sure if this has been posted many times already, or if it is even true. But someone told me that this is a patch of leaves that was kept from the Original Swiss Family Robinson treehouse. True, or not true?

I was so disappointed this morning when I tried to sign up my son and I up for the 10K, and it was full!!! I am grateful though that there were plenty of openings left for the 5K! We are still looking forward to it!

The Jungle Cruise is 1 of my favorite rides. It might not be thrilling but if you get a good captain and they are real funny it is a awesome experience I usually try to go on this ride 2 or 3 * a day when I go. Very sweet pic -that is great. one time, in front of the castle, a woman came up to us and said kinda fast, 'I'll take your pics if you take ours.' A second later I looked up at her and it turned out that we knew each other but hadn't recognized each other. We laughed so hard and hugged.( their son and my daughter went to school together in K and 1st, moved away, and now the kidlettes were in 5th grade. Her baby wasn't a baby anymore, either. I believe Dapper Days is done twice a year, usually once in the spring and once in the fall. Search Dapper Days Disneyland online and it should come up with a website for you with more information. When my kids were little I'd put one in a jogger stroller and if I had both I'd let the older one ride her bike. If you go to a track at a local school they can play where you can see them while you do laps. I've been running pretty consistently since high school. It's a type of workout I always return to. We got a puppy last year, and he has been a great motivator for me these last few months! He's gotten me out of the boring gym and out on the streets and trails this year, which feels wonderful. He loves jogging and he becomes very focused and obedient when we are out--it's adorable! He has helped to inspire me with my workouts again :) I also bought a road bike this year, and that has been a great way to do my cardio in a different way! I've been watching out for that, and they seem to vary, depending on the day and the week. When I was there end of July it was running out around 9am. As I mentioned on another post, it probably would be easier to line up at 7:30am and go right to the RSR line as soon as they 'drop the rope' (Actually, they gently guide you to Carsland). We waited about half an hour, and the single riders line was 15 minutes. Our friends waited in line for the fast passes (they open up at 8am as well) and were in line for an hour and did not get any, so wasted an hour in line, and then waited 120min in line at RSR. if u want to see the 4 parks in one day, make sure to maximize your time. Dont do rides, but take a lot of pics on main structures. My wife and I went in Nov,we stayed at the Universal portofino Hotel,it was very nice,we hit Disney for one day,Magic kingdom in the morning,Hollywood studios in the aft and finished with the night at Epcot,we did all the rides and attractions we wanted to,it was exhausting,and for us it was getting between the parks was pretty frustrating it takes a bit of time,you get so spoiled with the convenience of Dl and Dca. - Marko  4.6 #11558 6-7-12 1:54AM Like  Reply

Three fast passes for Indy! We are on small world now. I am wearing a black visor and Mickey shirt. My son is wearing an Indy hat, and my daughter is wearing a pink Sun hat and colorful plaid shirt.! Hope someone can use them!
