I have a question! A kinda creepy question, but where do you frequent park goers live.? I'm planning on moving down there and I'm trying to find a safe and affordable! Thanks a bunch!!:) β¨β¨
Me and my wife liked Fullerton. Near the college some affordable stuff around there is you don't mind the college kids. Right down 57 freeway about. 10min. From the park. - mexman11.3 #6394 4-28-13 8:27PMLike Reply

Radiator Springs Racers. It has all the components for a great ride: a story, amazing animatronics, immersive theming, and a thrill factor! - JoshTheJunkyardJamboreer252.3 #988 4-2-13 8:59PMLike(1) Reply

Does anyone know if they still do the electric parade???
I believe you mean the Main Street Electrical Parade. It's currently at Walt Disney World in Florida, but there's a rumor it's coming back to Disneyland soon. - ScooterMike1959.8 #35 1-20-13 7:25PMLike(1) Reply
Oops!! Yes that's what I meant! I hope it comes back to Disneyland! That was my favorite!!!:) - littlemermaid2319 7.1 #8128 1-20-13 7:30PM
Yeah, have not met anyone that wished it away. Think we all miss it- cute, fun, magical and probably a slice of when we were younger. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1798.9 #42 1-20-13 7:32PM
What I heard through the grapevine is that Disneyland is scheduled to have soundsational for another 4 years, and it is true that Electrical is coming back to the west coast, but it might be sitting gathering dust for a few years. What would be ideal is for Electrical to make appearance for DL 60th anniversary, but that is just rumored. - CMallyg9284.4 #3218 1-20-13 11:11PMLike Reply
60th anniversary. I'm sure that would be great!! My wife is going to 20th anniversary for Paris in 2013. They have heaps of extra fun :) - RapunzelledColey13.0 #6032 1-21-13 12:11AMLike Reply
Hey guys! I'm thinking about planning a trip to Disneyland around January 2nd-4th or 2nd-5th! What day do you think would be the less crowded?! Thank you! :) have a great night!
No idea, but I'll be there the 2nd and the 4th and simply expect crowds, but don't care--it's Disneyland! - KylaShea533.2 #214 12-11-12 9:43PMLike(1) Reply
That's the attitude we like! - ShariRenee 1505.7 #51 12-11-12 9:50PM
Probably the 2nd to the 5th that's what I think - princessVanessa382.5 #352 12-11-12 9:47PMLike Reply
Well your two date ranges are basically the same, except for the 2nd - 5th which just tacks on Saturday. In any case it shouldn't be incredibly crowded, but nonetheless be prepared. The middle of the week is when crowds are lightest, particularly Tuesdays and Thursdays. So the 3rd will probably be the least crowded day. - JRDrummer_CM791.5 #118 12-11-12 10:53PMLike Reply
Thank you! That helps a lot!!:) - littlemermaid2319 7.1 #8128 12-11-12 11:35PM
Having been there on those exact dates this year I can tell you that it will be very crowded. Rose Bowl game and parade are on New Year's Day. Both teams and their families from the Rose Bowl will be in the parks that week too. Disneyland was a bit too crowded for us so we ended up spending more time in DCA even with all the construction that was going on at that time. Good luck though! - KermitFan13407.6 #321 12-12-12 6:28AMLike Reply
So I'm planning on going to Disneyland for my senior trip this year! What is the best time to go around June? And any money saving tips while we're at the park? :) thanks for your help guys!
β¨β¨β¨
I don't have any money saving tips. Disney gets all of my money and I'm okay with that! Lots of people will say to eat outside the parks, but I think inside the parks is where some of the best food around can be found. Have fun on your trip! And congrats on being a senior! - ladylikesdisney921.5 #95 9-29-12 1:45PMLike(2) Reply
Also, June is crowded. But any time is a good time to visit Disneyland! - ladylikesdisney 921.5 #95 9-29-12 1:46PM
They do have really good food! Thank you!!!!:) - littlemermaid2319 7.1 #8128 9-29-12 1:48PM
A while back I was in line with some high school girls who were trying to save money by buying the souvenir cup, thinking they could share and get refills. You can't. π - bluefairy627.1 #174 9-29-12 2:50PMLike Reply
Early June but then again most schools will be out at that time - MarshaMouse2861.8 #15 9-29-12 4:07PMLike Reply
I was trying to reply to ladylikesdisney above, but it isn't letting me. so anyway....
I agree. Love the food in the park. For those of us who don't live nearby, it is just part of the whole vacation experience. Love all those things we can't get elsewhere! But if you want to save, then buy a kids' meal. Split a meal with someone else. Eat breakfast at your hotel if you can. Drink water (free) in the park rather than spending on sodas. Again, go for the things you can't get elsewhere, rather than stuff you can get anywhere. Also, start saving now so you have more spending money by June. have fun!! - meridafan1036.1 #83 9-29-12 4:09PMLike Reply
Been thinking a lot about the Disney college program... Has anyone done it?? And if anyone could give me a little more information about it that would be great!!:) thank you!
I was a custodial cm at the Magic Kingdom 2 years ago. It was an amazing experience. I met many wonderful people from around the world and made many unforgettable memories. In the custodial department, college program cms usually got the later shifts which gave me an opportunity to work during the fireworks and the Electrical Parade! It is a lot of hard work but getting to work for The Mouse and being a part of creating the magic for guests makes everything better. If you have any questions, feel free to ask :) - HelloKitty176.5 #1908 8-4-12 2:55AMLike(2) Reply
I am just going into the program right now. The application process isn't confusing or difficult, but there are several steps to it and at each one you have to be on your toes because you are applying with so many people. It is such an exciting thing though, I have already met so many people I know I will be friends with for a long time, and working for Disney, making people experience the magic every day is going to be very rewarding! I say go for it! :) And if you have any questions, feel free to ask me as well :) - seashelly107.0 #2950 8-4-12 8:35AMLike(1) Reply
The DCP is an amazing experience! I worked in Animal Kingdom last summer and I had a great time! The website has a lot of info about the program. Do you have any specific questions? :] - thelittlestmouse73.0 #3360 8-4-12 2:37AMLike Reply
So I think I might be obsessed with Disney.. I just looked at my movies and all of them are Disney/Pixar.. Hmmm:)
No worries. It's only a problem when you start buying seashell bathing suits and star fish hair clips.Β - Alicewhoareyou536.0 #209 4-25-12 11:47PMLike(2) Reply

You might be a Disney fanatic if.... you've taken your child out of school during the week because it's less crowded at the parks. - MyPark944.1 #91 4-25-12 11:49PMLike(1) Reply
