Last day at Disneyland and its supposed to rain all day. Any tips to make the most of it? Scheduled for the walk in walts footsteps tour as well :-(
Bring a change of socks and rain boots!!! Or flip flops, otherwise, Disneyland in the rain is the best!! The lines are GREATLY diminished and you get amazing pictures; I got a picture of my friend jumping in a puddle in front of the castle, in the middle of the day, without a single person other than her in it....what are the chances of that on a sunny day? Other than the puddle part of course... - jamielynn138.6 #2464 3-8-13 6:58AMLike(1) Reply

When you are really soaked, ride Mr. Toads Wild Ride. The last part of that ride should make you nice and dry 😁 - Slotherini886.9 #99 3-8-13 7:43AMLike Reply
I love that part. Especially when it's cold and rainy! - DisneyGrandma 339.3 #433 3-8-13 7:55AM
We did have a great time! It only rained for about a total of 10 minutes. - chryschris2266.1 #3472 3-25-13 1:35PMLike Reply
My birthday trip is coming up on Tuesday! My hubby surprised me with the walk in walts footsteps tour and I'm so pumped! Anyone else done it before?
I've seen some posts lately from people who have done this tour. If you use search you should find them. - debbiev59.3 #3585 3-2-13 1:53PMLike(1) Reply
I did it several years ago. They take you in the lobby of Club 33. We also got a tour of the Tiki Room and how the animitronics work. I read somewhere that they now take you in Walt's apartment, but I haven't confirmed that. You also get lunch. I would like to take the tour again. Let us know how you like it. - Kfeatherer317.4 #534 3-2-13 2:26PMLike Reply
They do take you into Walts appartment now. - Bibba 281.3 #723 3-2-13 2:28PM
Anyone done the Fantasmic dessert premium seating? Was it worth it?
You can get some great feedback on this exact topic if you use the search feature. Someone actually asked the exact same thing the other night. :) - aidensmama336.5 #445 2-16-13 10:59PMLike Reply

For me it's, I would like to do it once so I can experience it, but other than that I just wait. - TikiJOSEsWingman329.5 #476 2-17-13 12:42AMLike Reply
We have done it three times in the last several years. For me, it's so worth not being smushed and jostled. Also, it's nice to play and not have to hold a place. We travel quite far to be at the park, so it helps us make the best use of our time.😻 - mrstoad240.4 #1112 2-17-13 12:42AMLike Reply
Our last stop before leaving for home after our anniversary trip. My hubby is an avid lover of planes & we are an air force family so it was perfect! :)
Thanks everyone! Of course we had a great time! We were at Disney :) - chryschris2266.1 #3472 1-10-13 11:05PMLike(1) Reply

Nice! I haven't seen a pic of this in the Lounge yet. Some may argue the queue is more entertaining than the ride itself ;) - JRDrummer_CM792.7 #119 1-1-13 2:22PMLike(1) Reply

I have to be honest ... the one thing at DIsney that I walked off of and was like ... what just happened? They desperately need to revamp it! ;-) - chryschris2266.1 #3472 3-25-13 1:36PMLike Reply
yes, maybe add giant beach balls we can toss around on the attraction - Villescas8(V8) 589.1 #185 3-25-13 1:40PM
Better then beach balls, hundred dollar bills are spread out on the floor before the ride begins! - Hagrid 26.4 #4560 3-25-13 2:47PM
How is the crowd index calculated? The wait for radiator springs racers is 210 minutes but the index says 83 ...
i commented on this a few days ago- i was told the crowd index is definately not live and someone said its only a prediction. wait times are more live because they are input by MWers. - MrMom6261522.9 #51 12-31-12 2:40PMLike(1) Reply
You can read about it in the rules above, I'm not trying to be rude, I just don't want to copy and paste the whole thing. Also take note that the wait time hasn't been updated for 3 hours. - Linzee517.2 #225 12-31-12 2:19PMLike Reply
None offense taken ... I have read the rules but the index just never seems to go over mid 80s anytime I have ever looked at it since joining mw. - chryschris22 66.1 #3472 12-31-12 2:22PM
It's the busiest time of year right now, expect to see it in the 90s later, maybe even 100. Stay tuned... - Linzee 517.2 #225 12-31-12 2:27PM
I feel like Ive never seen it above 86, even when the park is at capacity. I pretty much use that as the top number for my own personal calculations ;) If its 85 or above, it's crowded. - MissMolly697.4 #141 12-31-12 2:26PMLike Reply
i saw it at 100 a few days ago- but lasted only a bit, then back to 84/85. - MrMom626 1522.9 #51 12-31-12 2:41PM
My oldest on the teacups for the first time... My all time favorite ride from childhood and he just laughed the entire time saying "faster mommy faster" :) what a great memory!

Are there any general rules or guidelines for posting a RAK? Want to do my very first one ...
yes...you can RAK yourself off for a date unless you are RAKing off Vincent Chase and a trip to Troll Island....No half eaten food unless John Stamos ate half of it....No Autographed pics of Santa Mike hiding behind the popcorn stand...NO BANANAS....No used hats unless its a beret worn by Rusty in European vacation..... - Dave 8647.5 #2 12-26-12 3:31PMLike(8) Reply
Troll island is beautiful during fall. - chris. 2507.3 #24 12-26-12 5:10PM
Check out some of the past RAKs...that should give you some ideas. - Gia785.5 #121 12-26-12 4:55PMLike(2) Reply
Not for posting. You make your own rules like only add yourself, say....., etc. you are in charge of your own RAK. Have fun with it! - minnieMisty215.8 #1402 12-26-12 3:31PMLike(1) Reply

What's the best spot to be for the Christmas parade? We have 2 little ones (3 & 1) and would like a good view but not have to wait forever. Haha is that even possible at Disney? Let alone the weekend before christmas? :) just thought I'd More...
My kids are the same age, we sat in front of the tree on main street, it also helped distract them from the wait with all the ornaments and present boxes - HBurns21151.4 #2269 12-21-12 11:59AMLike(1) Reply
You are sooo silly. Lol. If there are two adults you could have one wait at your viewing spot and save room for the whole fam while the other keeps the kiddos busy. Have a great day! - DisneyGrandma339.3 #433 12-21-12 9:28AMLike Reply
find a seat on the curb on mainstreet. get the kids some popcorn and enjoy! - MrMom6261522.9 #51 12-21-12 9:33AMLike Reply

Any parents out there ever take their children by themselves? I have an almost one year old and a three year old. I would love to take them sometime during the week while my hubby is working but I'm a little nervous :) guess won't know un More...
If you have a stroller, i would walk instead of tram. I find it easier. - Zipitydoodahdad258.1 #924 7-31-12 10:27PMLike(6) Reply
This...so true! It only takes nine minutes to walk from the parking structure to the park. - ohhhtoodles 365.2 #382 7-31-12 11:52PM
I've done it many times with my 3 year old daughter. I find it easier if I don't take a stroller to get on and off of the tram or bus. She gets tired of walking all day but she's a trooper and doesn't complain. She falls asleep as soon as we get to the car tho:) Having your husband around is helpful but I'm sure it's nothing you can't do on your own. I enjoy when it's just her and I. The mother and daughter bonding is great. - PrincessV333.0 #458 8-1-12 12:50AMLike(2) Reply
I have done it with a 3 year old and a 9 year old. We took it slow and leisurely. It would be difficult to go solo with 2 little ones but I would do it in a minute. Well, if I lived closer. Just plan on a nice slow day. - LaPearleNoir573.7 #192 8-1-12 6:12AMLike Reply
I go with my 3 y/o all the time. Walk instead out riding the tram. Take plenty of snacks. Potty breaks before long lines. Just enjoy yourself. If you want to be sociable, let MWers know when you are going and you can hit a meet up. - Squirtortue311.1 #554 8-1-12 6:31AMLike Reply
If they would have just re-stocked the bagged cherry sour balls all this could have been avoided. - LaneSparrow316846.9 #108 7-26-12 11:13AMLike(4) Reply
DL has been totally fine. Honestly I think the news has made it out to be worse then it is. The protests were near Anaheim City Hall. And honestly, is there a safer place you could be besides Disney? They are very strict with security! Stop worrying about it, and enjoy your time in the happiest place on earth! - ashmonster31.7 #4296 7-26-12 11:23AMLike(3) Reply
True, in the park it is non-existant and with everything that's going on around you in the park, you will have forgotten there is even anything going on outside the fences. - Goofdog 169.8 #2011 7-26-12 11:32AM
