For leap day, I intended on (and succeeded in) staying up for the full 24 hours without leaving disneyland. I got to the parking structure as soon as it opened, an hour before park opening. They did have an alternate lot open for the overnight campers, but I didn't want to do that. First item of business was to get a locker on Main Street, they did sell out eventually. Since it was February, I brought extra clothes and a blanket to sit on. I also packed snacks and drinks as well as toiletries like brush-ups to keep it minty fresh. Number 1 tip as soon as you get there enter each park because last time when they reach capacity only those that were already in the parks before can enter they had a special line for it. just read this on my local news here in san diego. i couldnt believe it. i think it would be a dangerous addition to the parks. people are always rushing and its always pretty crowded, even more so after fireworks, shows, and parades. its tough enough with a stroller or wheel chair. i think adding people on segways could have the potential for other guests, or the riders them selves getting injured. i know for some the segway is easier and better than the wheel chair, i just dont think it meshes well with the crowds at a park like disneyland - Mikiestown18.9 #5177 7-19-12 4:45PMLike Reply
this is a very gray area. I know parts of San Diego they are banned because the users of Segways have injured several walkers. Other areas they have a real speed limit on them.
