I've been hearing about the annual passholder movie nights at Dland... Is it true that this takes place every Thursday? Also how do annual passholders get wristbands to see a movie? How does this work? (Where do we go to see if we can get More...
I just got here so will check if they are doing it. It's only on thurs and its sporadic. Go to the opera house where they show Mr. Lincoln and check in. Wristbands are 1st come, 1st serve as space is limited. Come back at 630-645 w/ AP and wristband and they announce which movie at 7 - figzchic462.4 #264 10-4-12 12:36PMLike Reply

Oh wow I love both of them!! Wish I still had an AP! - SarahJoshDisney 69.5 #3411 10-4-12 1:06PM

What are the pros and cons of having a Disney Rewards Visa card? Is it really worth getting one?
We have it. We use it for everything possible. We earn 1% on everything we buy in "Disney Reward Dollars." If we use it for Disney vacation, no interest. Those are the pros. As soon as I charge on it, I go online and pay that amt off. Cons- if you apply but don't get approved, can bring your credit score down. If you keep a debt on it, never pay it off, always in the red. Interest rate is high if not paid off each month. There is another chase visa, that pays 2% charges $49 annual fee, but get $100 gift card. Could be worth it, if you can earn more than $49 year in Disney Reward dollars. If it were me, I would go to credit karma (I use this site without any problems), and check my credit score. Use the tool to see if opening a credit account would hurt or help your credit first. Biggest thing is to not get in debt more than you can handle. I am sure you already know this, but worth writing just in case somebody else reads this. - Sugarbuzz44.4 #3873 7-26-12 2:31PMLike(3) Reply
I have the free once without the annual fee. Pros - free money to spend at the parks. Cons - same cons as any other credit card. - LaneSparrow316846.9 #108 7-26-12 2:39PMLike(1) Reply
Ok Now I remember why I was hesitating to get one. The annual fee! Where do they offer no annual fee? Thanks for all the info! - imadisneymommy26.6 #4546 7-26-12 2:49PMLike Reply
There are two Disney Rewards Visas. One is the Premier (the one with the fee) and there's a regular one. Just google Disney Rewards Visa and check out their website. - LaneSparrow316 846.9 #108 7-26-12 2:54PM
The card with 2% back has an annual fee but not the 1% one. I pay mine each month so it's worth it for me. - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED} 278.6 #743 7-26-12 2:56PM
Does Disneyland still sell discounted tickets after 4 pm? I believe they were called twilight tickets. If not, can they be purchased somewhere else?
The only twilight tickets now will get you into a movie where two people gush over each and make me feel nauseous, although it's cool that one of them sparkles. I havent heard about any other deals. - madsdad1124.8 #73 7-17-12 1:01PMLike(5) Reply

in aug of 2011, we stayed at the Hilton in Anaheim and they offered the twilight tickets for $50 after 4. weather they were legit or not, idk. you could call and ask. - mochamistie272.8 #803 7-18-12 9:31PMLike Reply

Yeah Dumbo flies during the fireworks. I didn't know until a few weeks ago when a CM working at Casey Jr. told everyone to look up and there he was. Haha. Now it's my favorite part. - Amy23273.5 #797 6-4-12 9:22PMLike Reply

Johnny Depps look alike from the movies lives in the town near me. I have ran into him in the bank and almost passed out. He looks a lot like him even in regular clothes. And I stalked Johnny Depp to his suite at The Grand once. Caughts a quick glimpse he gave me a half smile as he entered his room and then DK security and the plaids had me turned around going the other way down the hall as fast as they could. - Mrsblue692.4 #145 6-4-12 6:39AMLike(5) Reply

Yep. This was one of my questions recently also. The store is gone for now. I was not able to find anywhere else on property that did the same thing. It was $20 for a box to fill and many of the pieces are park exclusive. Fingers crossed we see it return somewhere soon. - cynDOLEwhip744.1 #137 5-29-12 4:16PMLike Reply

They were in the toy store in DCA and one of the stores in Toon Town. I haven't seen them in Toon Town for ages now either. They are my kids' favorite! You could stuff so much in those boxes. You didn't have to get the potato. We would just regular ones from the store. Best was clearance Easter ones and stuff and then they could stick the parts on them. There were only a few pieces we hadn't gotten yet. I do hope they are brought back! My kids still ask for them. - Autoalice135.7 #2508 5-29-12 6:03PMLike Reply
