My boyfriend his 6yr old and I will be coming to Disneyland in Jan from Oregon. How much do you guys usually reserve for spending money each Day for food? We are gonna have snack and drinks in the Hotel. And we will have a certain amount More...
If you stay in the parks and eat, plan to pay about $10-$15 per person, per meal. You are able to bring already made sandwiches into the parks (great for lunch) to save some money. If you use our search feature and search the keywords "budget" or "tips" you will find a ton of money saving ideas for your trip. Hope this helps! - Armenda994.9 #89 10-19-12 8:58AMLike(2) Reply
If you do breakfast at your hotel and bring in snacks and drinks I'd say $100/ day for lunch and dinner if you do counter/ quick service meals. We usually bring in lunch then dinner and treats are $50 (when there's 3 of us). - NikkiMickey1588.6 #49 10-19-12 9:22AMLike Reply
Thanks guys! We are staying at the DLH so I am hoping to get some groceries for the room to have breakfast there and snacks. We are going to have one nice lunch (cheaper than dinner) then the cheaper quick serve for dinner! - Cinderkelly55.7 #3650 10-19-12 5:35PMLike Reply
For the first time I actually purchased all my food ahead of time :) headed back to the room for lunch, packed day snacks then had our sandwiches/jarred salads for dinner! All of our food for 4 days cost about 50 bucks, great compared to 200 I spent last time in 3 days. - NeverlandPan7.3 #8012 10-19-12 7:37PMLike Reply

For those of you MWers who live in So. Cal, what is is the weather usually like in Jan?
Cold (for us that live in So. Cal). Sweater, pants, and beanie weather. Jacket for outside. - aidensmama336.6 #446 9-16-12 5:31PMLike Reply

We are planning our Disney vacation for jan 13-19. I know this is right around the Tinkerbell run. Do you think it will be crazy busy? We try to go when it isn't too busy. I know the wknd will be pretty busy but what about the wk of Jan More...
I think the tinker bell run is the last weekend of jan. I think you be fine. Not packed at all. That's a good time to go. I went last year in jan and didn't know about the tink run, it was busy just during the run. Traffic was the worse. - fantasmicfan028.2 #7511 9-5-12 7:29AMLike(1) Reply
No, this is an awesome time to visit the parks. School is back in session. Holiday decorations won't be there though, but neither will crowds, - splashphotoCM880.9 #102 9-5-12 8:19AMLike(1) Reply

Question for all of the MWs out there who do not live in SoCal. When you plan your DL trip do you usually use a travel agent or do you book flight and hotel/park package seperately? I think we are going to use a travel agent this time. It More...
First thing you should know, if you didn't, you do not pay to use a travel agent. Some agents or agencies might charge a small fee for large trips, that require a lot of work. Travel agents are knowledable and often times are able to have access to fantastic deals from vendors. I live in NorCal, and I do not use an agent for my trips to DL, but I encourage folks that live a few states over or are out of the country, to utilize the services of an agent. They do all the work for you, so you can just enjoy. :) π - DisneyFanZoe1099.1 #75 8-26-12 12:32PMLike(5) Reply
then why do they have a business where people are paying them and it ain't no small fee - AZDizFan 8.4 #7374 8-26-12 1:08PM
ππ I'm often boggled by the misunderstanding people have of travel agents. How are experts in the travel industry a bad thing to turn to? Crazy... - DisneyFanZoe 1099.1 #75 8-26-12 2:55PM
I always use a travel agent. They have saved me so much money. Able to set up military discounts for my dad, cheaper hotels I could go on. - JediTrance71.1 #3397 8-27-12 1:42PMLike Reply
I'm local, so this doesn't technically count. But I've used hotels.com to book a couple nights stay near the resort, and saved a LOT of $$$!! - GrimGrinningAmanda318.7 #529 8-27-12 1:54PMLike Reply
If you have a fb account you can go search it on there. Just make sure if you want to earn points that youre email address is the same one you use for mw. Also, lots of apps with Disney trivia are available. They're not as hard as the MW one, but still fun nonetheless! - kanastarr88.6 #3164 7-11-12 6:22PMLike(1) Reply

I just started this game and love it! Gets my mind thinking, I like! Under the tab Disneyland Talk, is a link for Trivia Challenge, if you click on that it should take you to the site. Good luck and have fun. - LynniePooh238.0 #1136 7-11-12 6:22PMLike Reply
I can't figure out how to add a profile pic. Can somebody help me? Thanks!
Q. How do I post a profile picture?A. You can change your Profile picture on the iPhone by going to the MouseRank tab, there is a place on there where you can upload it. Same thing for Android, just go to the MouseRank tab and upload your picture. You can also do it on the web version by going to your Profile page,(while you are logged in), here you can upload a pic directly from your computer. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for your new pic to appear. - DaisyDork170.0 #2009 6-24-12 12:52PMLike(1) Reply
