My hubby can't go to DL/CA with me and I have two kids...a 3 and a 6 year old. They love Ariel and Buzz. Can the three of us get on Buzz together? Normally, we each take one kid. Had anyone gotten on with two kids?
Yes some times my 3 year old, my fiance and I ride together. On astro blasters I sit my son on my lap - lilo84374.5 #366 8-16-12 5:06PMLike Reply
I have triplets and I take them to DL and DCA by myself all the time. You can fit 3 on each ride. - hueydeweyandlouie49.1 #3776 8-16-12 6:08PMLike Reply
like most of the dark room rides they say you can fit two or a small three in the carriage. good luck riding it and maybe getting to shoot both guns at once when you help them! - howdyhowdyhowdy45.9 #3838 8-16-12 7:51PMLike Reply
Someone please, go to the Ghirardelli shop and have something decadent for me! I haven't been to DL/CA for a few weeks and have been craving the chocolate malt I had ever since.

There were a couple of recent Ghiradelli posts recently that will have your mouth watering. Use the search feature and beware of the chocolate goodness. - ScooterMike1959.8 #35 8-11-12 5:34PMLike Reply

Let's talk parking. What are the pros and cons to parking in the Woody lot vs parking structure? Which is more "child friendly?" We always park in the Woody lot because it seems like there's more walking in the structure. Not lazy here... More...
i always do the structure. i did the toystory couple times and did not like it at all. but that was awhile back it might have gotten better since. i think for stroller it might be better then the structure though. - Hendizl1313.0 #61 8-10-12 8:20AMLike(1) Reply
There is a lot of walking at the structure. We usually choose depending on the size of the stroller and how well it folds up. It can take awhile to get one of the seats on the tram where you don't have to fold the stroller, plus it can be a hassle to squeeze the stroller between the bench seats. The bus from Toy Story lot allows more room for the folded stroller and has air conditioning, which can feel like heaven after a hot day at the parks. - duckymomo23.9 #4758 8-10-12 7:57AMLike Reply
Toy Story, I like because of the shuttle, less walking and AC. I don't like it because it seems to take awhile, and I sort of get nauseated from the shuttle lol. M&friends, I don't like walking too much, especially after a long day. But usually when we go later in the day when the parking attendants aren't there, we're more likely to get a spot closer to the escalators, and not at the back end of the structure. Also another pro is that on hot days, the structure keeps cooler than TS, since that lot is out in the sun. - MEHlanie_Mouse691.0 #146 8-10-12 10:38AMLike Reply
My husband wants to know if there is security at both. We haven't used the parking at DL ever, since we usually stay w/in walking distance, but will this time as we are staying a little too far away to walk. - toniasmith263.4 #887 8-10-12 10:40AMLike Reply
One of my favorite places in DCA. It has a place to talk with Crush from Finding Nemo, to learn to draw some favorite Disney characters, draw moving animation, find out what Character you are, do voice overs on classic Disney movies and watch some of your favorite movie moments on huge big screens all around you! It's a great place to cool off too! 😊 - Sweet_Irish_Cream2574.4 #22 8-9-12 10:16PMLike(3) Reply

Hubby and I are going to DL/CA soon w/o the kids. What are some must for adults? Not so much the rides, but dining and other things. We have AP's so we typically spend pure time going on rides, but usually leave after a few hours (our kid More...
Spend a little time out of the park and check out Trader Sam's at the DLH. And rides, yes! Do the ones you love to ride, regardless if they're kids rides or not! Take a break on the porch, cuddle. - FantasmicFan82173.3 #1948 8-6-12 11:10PMLike(2) Reply

Have a cocktail or two, hang out at MadTparty, take a tour, go to animation academy, watch a parade, eat a fancy meal... - Linzee517.2 #225 8-6-12 11:10PMLike(1) Reply
Ooh! I love, love, love the idea of taking a tour! Has anyone honed on one? Which would you recommend? What is the Mad T Party? - esvd 10.0 #6787 8-9-12 12:28PM
A Walk in Walt's Footsteps is very nice. You learn alot about Walt in the park, go on a ride or two and see the Club 33 lobby - MelodyMouse 941.9 #92 8-9-12 12:30PM
Looking forward to having a non-kid centered meal. I forgot to mention that we're going during the day as the kids will be at school. - esvd10.0 #6787 8-9-12 12:33PMLike Reply
