Wooooooo hoooooooo I finally set a date for Disneyland!!! Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! Waiting on my friend, who's a CM to let me know if he's working so he can tag along... Hopefully nothing goes wrong!! So excited!!
What makes me sad about retro day is that o have no idea if we even still have photos of past Disney trips. I know the ones I have are in my storage locker in Oregon. My moms are, too most likely.
I can grab them for ya lol. - madsdad1130.7 #72 7-20-12 3:23PMLike Reply

Since RSR seems to break a lot, what would you say would be the most romantic spot you would feel lucky enough to get stuck at with your sweetheart?
We got stuck right by the waterfall while we were still under that "tunnel" right before the waterfall... it was so romantic, and the couple next to me took advantage of the situation. WORST SINGLE-RIDER EXPERIENCE EVER. - LaTruce1675.6 #45 7-10-12 2:40PMLike(15) Reply

Somewhere on CA Screamin, where you can see all of the park. Preferably at night. But I think I won't find the romantic value of this experience until after I finish freaking out that we're stuck lol. The restraints also pose a serious dilemma... Oh well, it's a pretty view! My friend is crazy! Whilst trying to plan out our trip he makes the comment, ? I'll be getting you at 4:30 in the morning.? And I reply with, ? like he##. The park does not open until 8!! It takes an hour and twenty minutes to get there!?
Sounds like he'd fit right in with my schedule. Don't want to miss a thing! - alwaysbouncinby320.5 #522 7-9-12 11:09AMLike Reply

Seriously. We don't even have a set date to go yet. It'll be next month for sure. But, I was , like I'll not getting up at three am for nothing. I'd be too tired for Disneyland. - dreadpiratebubbles68.7 #3440 7-9-12 11:31AMLike Reply
Ok, so I am considering buying an AP, BUT I am going for one of the cheaper two. But, when I want to go will most likely be a block out date for that pass. I won't have to pay anything extra to go in the parks that day will I? I doubt it, More...
The first time you use your passport (only applies to new and expired passports) you will not be blockout. The reason: let's say you purchased a one day pass and at the end of the day you decide to upgrade to an annual passport. You can do that. The price of the one day ticket will be applied to your annual passport. That's why if you purchase an AP on a blockout date, you can still get in with the blockout fee waived. - MellyChelly256.7 #939 7-8-12 10:43PMLike(3) Reply
Yes if its a block out day you have to pay $70 to get in. - Mickeymouse28345.9 #424 7-8-12 10:28PMLike Reply
Well, I know you can buy blackout tickets. But I mean like, if I go and then use my ticket to get an AP. Would I still have to do that or is it better to wait until I'm going to go home? - dreadpiratebubbles68.7 #3440 7-8-12 10:34PMLike Reply
Are you talking about upgrading a parkhopper to an AP? - LoveLove 345.9 #423 7-8-12 10:35PM
You want to upgrade a ticket to a pass? - aidensmama 336.6 #446 7-8-12 10:37PM
Yes. It's just I didn't see it on the FAQ on their site. I might have just accidentally skipped over it. I'm just trying to plan it all out, I'm tired of waiting on the ex when I have friends who want to go and have tickets/passports already. I'd rather go with them anyway. - dreadpiratebubbles 68.7 #3440 7-8-12 10:48PM
My friend bought a three day pass last year, says valid through 9-30-12, armed forces salute... He already used one day, is there a time limit on when he can use the last two days?
as far as i know, he can still use it until the expiration date. even the MWR people say that. Just make sure to go the guest services and take a picture of the ticket, because sometimes CM's are so overwhelmed that there are mixed-up with the tickets - otilegna884.0 #101 7-8-12 3:11PMLike Reply
If I remember correctly they expire 14 days after the first date you use it. The expiration date of 9/2012 is for the end date for the current military discount tickets. And if that it's the case and you can still use them later on that is awesome an will be handy information for our next trip! - luvmygreenarmyman171.5 #1981 7-8-12 7:18PMLike Reply
That's what I told him, that they expire 14 days after first use, but doesn't say that on the ticket. - dreadpiratebubbles 68.7 #3440 7-8-12 9:51PM
well the MWR representatives told me that the military tickets never expire within 14days after the 1st use. I am like keep on repeating my questions to them and they emphasized to me that i can use one day for this month, one day on another month, and another day. - otilegna 884.0 #101 7-8-12 11:18PM
The military 3 days do not expire until the date listed(sept 30, I think). They are different than regular tickets. We have bought over 10of these as a family most of the time we used all 3 days but a couple times we used them as day hoppers. We went in Feb, then May and will use the last day in Sept. so what ever the date on the back says. I see they extended it until Sept 28? - emnldsmom189.3 #1759 7-8-12 11:32PMLike Reply
according to Disney website and MWR Magazines, the last day is Sept. 28 - otilegna 884.0 #101 7-8-12 11:42PM
Awesome!! Then that means one friend is taken care of. Now to talk to my friend who's a CM and see about his schedule so even if he has to work he won't have to take the train... And then to get my AP! Woooooots! - dreadpiratebubbles68.7 #3440 7-9-12 1:53AMLike Reply
Got to love it. Trying to plan a summer trip to DL with our son before ex moves to sacramento in Sept, on extremely tight budgets, and his car decides that it wants a new alternator. YAY! Lol.
Eh, who needs an alternator, anyway? Lol. So sorry to hear--seems like cars like to demand new parts when it's not convenient... - Spoonful_O_Sugar436.3 #285 7-6-12 1:37PMLike Reply

The first day I have to walk right down the middle of main street USA (yes I sing the song to myself and everything) and pirates is first on the list. then we have to see great moments with mr.
