Question: Which disneyland resort hotel is the best in your opinion? And which is the cheapest?
The Paradise Pier is the least expensive and has the largest rooms. It also has no tram service to the parks, so you have to walk all the way into DL. You can walk through the Grand for entrance to DCA, The Grand is the most expensive and also has the smallest rooms, and is closest to the parks. The Disneyland Hotel is my favorite and after the recent renovation the rooms are great. We've stayed at the original towers for over 30 years including the old garden villas which were demolished when DTD and DCA were being built. Hope this helps. - splashphotoCM881.2 #104 2-24-13 11:11AMLike(2) Reply
I've not stayed in any DLR hotel... Yet. I think I would probably stay at the DL hotel first based on what MWers have said. (And just a hint, it's spelled 'which') - MyPark946.4 #94 2-23-13 10:15AMLike(1) Reply
Just stayed at the Grand. What I loved most is the convenience of proximity to the parks. We've stayed at the DL hotel and these rooms were more spacious and the kids seemed to like these rooms better. Haven't tried the Pier but may try that next. - TamiLovesDisney126.5 #2673 2-24-13 10:55AMLike Reply
I've only ever stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and it was magical. We stayed in the Frontierland tower and had a view of the hotel grounds/pool. The pool is great btw, we loved the monorail water slides! Plus Goofys Kitchen is there and the walk to the monorail is so close and convenient. - BettyPoop232.5 #1231 2-24-13 11:16AMLike Reply
Question: where is everyone's favorite place in the parks to eat? Personally I like to eat at Village Haus not sure why and my second is the hungry bear I like sitting and watching the ROA
Riverbelle Terrace for their sandwiches, Blue Bayou for a special occasion. On the DCA side, Pacific Wharf and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta. - redsoxcarlos126.7 #2670 1-3-13 7:35AMLike Reply

I have seen this lovely couple a few times before. I'm glad you didn't have your phone on you. They don't need to be bothered by MWers taking their picture and plastering it on here. We should respect their privacy. :) ๐๐ - DisneyFanZoe1099.6 #75 8-21-12 11:51AMLike(7) Reply

Everytime we go to disneyland my family is always in a mad rush to get on all the rides when I try to just walk around meet characters and enjoy the atmosphere and live entertainment. Does anyone else have there family do this?
This is why going solo rocks, and one day you'll get to enjoy it too. - Sarafina400.7 #338 7-17-12 1:03PMLike(1) Reply
Mine! ( well when my family had passes) my sisters would rush to every ride and I wanted to stop and take my time and take in the whole experience. I still do that. When we went to cars land my friends rushed through and they were done. And I wanted to stroll through and see every little detail! - Flyingtoneverland188.1 #1809 7-17-12 12:41PMLike Reply
Exactly! I went with my FREINDS once and it was just rush rush rush so me and 1 of my Freinds just left the group and watched the entertainment (parade, dapper dans. Etc.) - MaestroGoofy 7.7 #7972 7-17-12 12:44PM
I hear your pain. My family don't even want to watch parades. I have decided to add a solo trip to my bucket list so that I can take in the atmosphere. - Gabster1200.0 #1671 7-17-12 12:42PMLike Reply
