We have taken our lil guy to DL/DCA at 5 months old, 10 months, 13 months, 17 months, again at 24 months old, and have enjoyed each visit. We were so glad to have invested in the optional shade extension cover attachment for our UppaBaby stroller, which helped keep our baby cool, comfortable, and away direct sunlight while moving about the parks during the day. We were also glad to have purchased the optional fully enclosed, heavy duty, clear plastic, zipper attached, capsule with breathable air-vents which helped keep the lil guy warm and cozy inside the baby compartment; keeping the cold and wind outside as he slept during those late evenings while we watched the light and firework shows. We also have a coiled cable lock which loops thru the rear wheels and frame of our stroller and taken it to DLR/DCA/DTD each time with no problems. Please do keep in mind when leaving a locked stroller to park it "legally" though. Although we have not had our lock cut, CM's have helped move our stroller to accommodate the shifting parking areas and I'm sure it is not unheard of for "illegally" unattended strollers to very well be "adjusted" to conform to regulations. We usually stay on-property, the time we stayed off-property we found it best for one member from our group to drop-off and pick-up utilizing the free-temporary parking located east of DL/DCA along South Harbor Blvd., south of the transit bus loop, between West Manchester Ave. and Disney Way, across from Denny’s. It really made it much easier as we avoided having to carry on all the “baby bags” and dealing with loading/unloading the stroller on the trams…and the baby care center found across from the red corn dog car on Main Street in DL and next to the Bakery Tour in DCA have a vast array of resources; from formulas, baby foods, diapers, to changing stations, breastfeeding rooms, rockers, and high chairs…definitely a must stop to refresh and replenish if needed! Hope this helps and enjoy this wonderful time with your lil one! Don’t forget to take lots of pictures too! - ya0z3rs8.6 #7283 6-25-12 8:40AMLike Reply
That is sooooo cute! I ❤ them!! Did you do it yourself? If so, what did you use and how long did it take? Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated! 💅 Thanks so much for the post and have a WONDERFUL time tomorrow! Please don't forget to update us tomorrow also! 😄 - ya0z3rs8.6 #7283 6-19-12 3:14PMLike(2) Reply
When I do polkadots, I take a pencil with an eraser, and stick a sewing pin with a round colored top in the eraser.makes for a perfect dotting tool. Just out some nail polish on a paper plate, paper towel, whatever, dip the pinhead in the paint a bit, and dot it on a nail polished fingernail. Practice a bit on the plate first to get the sizes how you want. :) - flukefan 266.4 #861 6-19-12 3:22PM
That sounds good, I can't wait to give it a shot when we go next! Thanks for the help! - ya0z3rs 8.6 #7283 6-19-12 3:26PM
Well first paint all nails red. With a toothpic cut off th tip and with white nail polish you can do the dots. And the Mickey after the red is dry do a thiker French tip but with the black and the 2 yellow dots. And your all done 😁💅 - JayyD0ll8.0 #7604 6-19-12 3:22PMLike(1) Reply
Cool! Sounds easy enough! Did you use Revlon for all your colors? Do you find any one brand works best because you did such a fantastic job! It looks soooo clean! After all the waiting and drying, how long do you think it took from start to finish? Sorry for all the q's just REALLY excited to try it before our next upcoming visit! Thanks again for the post and sharing! 👍😃 - ya0z3rs 8.6 #7283 6-19-12 3:33PM
Super cute! My sister does nails and has recommended the pin/eraser trick because the dots have clean lines. - melbelleb3.2 #21333 6-19-12 11:27PMLike Reply
Last night, our stroller was taken for the 2nd time! We didn't lose anything of value, having learned our lesson the first time, but it was still a major drag and disappointment. Maybe Grad Night joyriders? Luckily, the security dude comp More...
The stroller was just a Target cheapie. Why? No value! We think either crazy high school kids or maybe someone we (accidentally) cut-off or offended somehow. Oh well. The worst part (other than being ripped-off in the Magic Kingdom) was the long walk back with the sleepy boy. - pharaoh251.3 #1000 6-20-12 12:34PMLike(1) Reply

I'm so sorry to hear that it happened twice. We have a stroller and a coiled cable lock which loops thru the rear wheels and frame. Have taken it to DLR/DCA/DTD on three separate trips lasting from 3-5 days so far with no problems. Please do keep in mind when leaving locked stroller to park it "legally" though. Although we have not had our lock cut, CM's have helped move our stroller to accommodate the shifting parking areas and I'm sure it is not unheard of for "illegally" unattended strollers to very well be "adjusted" to conform to regulations.
