there is a cost of 30$ up front to get the map and info to find the juju. The first 2 juju cost $10, the eye of mara was free, the piranha was free, the pineapple cost $7 for the parfait...it was ok, the snake cost $7 for the snake venom juice which was good but sugary. The elephant was free, the parrot was free, the tiki mask cost $7.50 at the bar. Too sugary i tossed it into the trash. Maybe one could ask for a drink substitution. Make sure you open the last envelope to get the questions to answer because the answers are in adventureland not at the Trader sams all the way out at the dl hotel. Total cost was around $62 for these. It was fun to do and I really needed the diversion. The CMs were a lot of fun helping you out. - Plumiegirl 8010.0 #3 8-7-14 3:01PMLike(8)Reply
How to use Disney’s original Fasspass. Find the Fasspass
distribution Center at select attractions. Insert your pass or ticket. Get a
return time to return to the attraction. You must use it within the time frame
, early or late will not be accommodated. The only time you can use your pass
after the time frame is if the attraction is offline during your return time. You
cannot hold more than one pass for the same attraction or another. Check you fp
will let you see when you can get another pass usually within 2 hours or after
you use your pass up whichever is sooner. RSR and world of color are not
connected to the rest of the park so you can get additional passes at other
locations. Fasspass is open for select times, dates and seasons. Fasspass work
like this. Each ride can ride a certain capacity per hour example at full
capacity lets say indy can ride 1,200 riders per hours –this is not the number
ok, , so 1200 riders so say 10% of seats are reserved for fp so 120 seats are
virtually held. When your ticket is issued a ticket you reserved one spot for
that ride and keeps going until all passes are exchasted for the day, that is
why as you look at the reserve board the time keeps moving up. And up unitl it
reads-----, ------ meaning its all gone. I said original because we still use
the original format in dl resort as newer versions of magic bands and fastpass
+ is in wdw although I personally like the version we have here.

You can get one fast pass every two hours or the start time on your fast pass ticket, whichever is sooner. Always read all the info on the pass. If you're there in the morning and get a fast pass say for Indy. Return time is 9:30-10:30. The pass says next fast pass is available after 9:30am. I would go at 9:30, grab a fast pass for another attraction and then come back and ride Indy. Fast pass distribution is halted when the attraction is down since CMs don't know how long the attraction will be be closed. Distribution resumes with the opening of the attraction as long as there are fast passes left. The amount of fast passes available also depend on the ride capacity during the day (number of vehicles, etc). - IDVandalSkipperCM 2119.7 #54 6-13-14 11:35AMLike(2)Reply

#DisneyOnaBudget ✅ So here goes: we are coming on our next trip on a huge budget. I've managed to squeeze in the 4th of July weekend with the family and sending hubby home on Sunday for work and staying til Thursday with a good friend. More...
I've got a few... 1) Our Target usually has the Smart Water bottles they sell in the parks for $1. I buy at least 3 for each day we will be there and freeze them. That way they stay cold all day. I carry one and put the others in the backpack. 2) The picnic area lockers! These lockers are bigger than the ones inside the parks and the esplanade and you don't have to take the stuff through bag check. You could fit a small ice chest in one of the large lockers and keep cool items. We once mixed up some tuna and kept that, bread (well, we forgot the bread which resulted in some creativity lol), snacks like Cheezits, etc. Then you can keep all your meals in there and the patio is usually pretty empty. PLUS you're still on property!!! 3) I got this one from MW. If you have a Target Red Card, purchase Disney gift cards with it when you can. You'll get 5% off (plus whatever you get on your AP) 4) I have several apps on my phone that I use to build up rewards. I then redeem those rewards for Starbucks gift cards that can be used in all the park locations. We've gotten a whole meal for free with this! The sandwiches they have at the DCA location are yummy! Here are my regular apps: Viggle (check in on tv), Shopkick (scan items on your phone when shopping), Mom uses Mango Health (check in when you take your daily medications, including vitamins!). I'm sure there's plenty more, but they're SUPER easy!!! - SPandEvLover 2940.8 #34 6-5-14 3:28PMLike(8)Reply
Definitely utilize Costco. People have this impression that I have all this $$ to come to Disneyland everyday and that couldn't be further from the truth. I SAVE money by being here. I bring my own drinks & snacks like Triscuits, trail mix, apples and other tough fruits that can withstand the backpack; also Cliff & other snack bars. It saves a ton of money & energy. - apesandmonkeys 7554.5 #4 6-5-14 1:37PMLike(5)Reply
Great tips thanks for posting this! I think everything I was going to say was covered. Oh maybe one thing along with using Costco. If you're going to eat at restaurants then get the discounted gift cards to the restaurant of your choice there. They have $100 gift cards for $74.95. - AriellesMom 64.4 #3976 6-30-14 10:23AMLikeReply
Frozen water bottles, jerkey, pop tarts and Pringles are always in our backpack. If we really are trying to save money, we walk to McDonald's for lunch. - FoolishMortal138 325.2 #677 6-30-14 11:20AMLikeReply

Here are some helpful tips when dining at Goofys kitchen.
Goofys kitchen is open from 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM for Breakfast and 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM for Dinner. Upon arriving make sure that your whole party is together, and if you are all paying separately that is no problem as you actually pay for your meal up front before dining. Tip is included and if you do want to order drinks that are not included such as bloody Mary or a beer you can do so and the waiter will bill you separately. Reservations are recommended as a lot of people tend to dine here and not visit the parks for kids and or adults bdays With that said, its probably the best option for large parties to dine at at any of the DLR hotels. Once everyone has checked in its time for the group photo with Goofy or Pluto! The Disney photographer will be happy to take any pics with your own camera but will also take some professional photos which they will offer you to purchase towards the end of the meal. Both breakfast and Dinner service have different characters. When dining each character will make his way around the room and visit each table. Its best to restrain your little and big ones from going up to the characters while they are visiting with other tables as it does take away from that guests experience. Some of my personal favorites from the breakfast lunch buffet is the build your own omlete bar with tons of great choices and they can even do egg whites or egg beaters! My other fav is the self serve soft serve machine with vanilla and chocolate soft serve with all sorts of yummy toppings like gummy worms, sprinkles, you name it they have it! In my personal opinion the food at Goofy's kitchen buffet is much better than the buffet at Storytellers and is also cheaper, has a bigger selection and 3 times as many characters for your enjoyment - Dave 11414.2 #2 7-23-13 1:19PMLike(20)Reply
Nice tour video! Here's another tip... if you purchased a Photopass Plus card for your Disney Vacation, the group photo with Goofy is free ($29.99 value). So take advantage of the free photo packages offered at the character meal locations with your Photopass plus card - it essentially pays for itself if you go to one character meal location and get a few attraction photos added on to the card. - DisLUVney 551.0 #313 7-23-13 4:55PMLike(6)Reply

Thank you for sharing your perspectives. We usually camp out about 6:15pm and lay out a blanket. It works well for the minis so they can relax and then we pic up food and have a picnic style dinner. It great when we have the grandparents with us because we can take turns holding our spot while others and enjoy nearby attractions. You are absolutely right, cuddling with the minis while watching the show makes for a wonderful experience. - DisLUVney 551.0 #313 7-18-13 3:41PMLikeReply
